Welcome to the Photography of John Shuptrine

John Shuptrine specializes in fine art black & white photography using silver emulsion techniques. He works to capture intimate details of the natural world around him, both in close-ups and landscapes. His portrait work seeks to reveal the inner joy and love of those he’s photographing.

All prints are archivally processed, selenium toned and available framed or unframed.

John is a member of the Blue Ridge Photographic Arts Society

Current Shows

John has his "Un-Space" show now hanging at the Lynchburg Academy of Fine Arts till Jan. 29, 2010.

He also has work available in Chattanooga, TN at Gold Leaf Designs & Gallery.

In 2008 John was published in the B&W Magazine, Single Image Contest Edition. He won a Gold Award and a Silver Award for his work.
